Incense of Awakening: Epiphany on Earthly Paths
Weary traveler on dusty roads—what does life pursue?
Let frost-touched temples become silvered mounds.
Half a lifetime bustling in vain, seasons unpaid dues.
Like silkworms trapped in cocoon-spun bounds,
A caged songbird with muted sounds,
A boat in storm-tossed waves unmoored.
Suddenly I meet cloud-veiled peaks, sit in forgetfulness where woods profound.
Pine winds arise, ten thousand valleys hush their rounds.
In mist-cloak carefree, watch egrets freely glide.
See mountains as dark brows refined,
The moon like broken jade designed,
Streams as wine-cups of jade aligned.
Life floats as transient guest
drink this floating bubble fine!
